FC Porto has suffered another major injury blow, with Brazilian winger Rafael Marcano set to be out for three weeks with a knee ligament tear.
The news comes after the 21-year-old made his debut for the club in the opening game of the season against Benfica, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory.
However, he was forced off with an injury during the second half and is now expected to miss at least two more matches before returning to action.
Marcano's injury is a significant setback for FC Porto, who were hoping to build on their impressive start to the season with a win over rivals Benfica.
