FC Porto has suffered another major injury blow, with Brazilian winger Rafael Marcano set to be out for three weeks with a knee ligament tear.

The news comes after the 21-year-old made his debut for the club in the opening game of the season against Benfica, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory.

However, he was forced off with an injury during the second half and is now expected to miss at least two more matches before returning to action.

Marcano's injury is a significant setback for FC Porto, who were hoping to build on their impressive start to the season with a win over rivals Benfica.

The Brazilian youngster is just one of several key players who will be out for较长一段时间, with the likes of Joao Felix and Bruno Fernandes also currently sidelined.

Despite these setbacks, FC Porto remain in contention for the league title and have already secured a place in the Champions League group stage.

However, they will need to find ways to cope without some of their star players if they want to compete for honours this season.
